Welcome to the School Library/
Learning Resource Centre.

The Learning Resource Centre is a valuable area of the school which students across all key stages are welcome to use as much as possible.

Activities available for students in the LRC include:

  • Discover and discuss books,

  • Borrow books for a loan period of two weeks,

  • Use as a quiet space to complete home learning,

  • Spend quiet time playing chess and other board games,

  • Read newspapers and magazines

  • Access the Internet for educational purposes.

Careers Library

Our students have access to a wealth of careers and 'next steps' materials in the Learning Resource Centre. Mrs Weightman will be able to provide guidance to help students navigate the Careers Library and find reference books, as well as books that can be borrowed for use outside of school.

Students have access to up-to-date university and apprenticeship information, prospectuses, career information and Internet access for wider research.

The Careers Library is open Monday to Friday, and can be accessed by students at break, lunchtimes and after school.
