Applying for University

Careers Education >

Our aim is to give students the best chance of admission to a degree course that matches their skills, interests and academic potential. As part of our support, subject teachers and tutors provide advice and guidance on ‘next steps’ after sixth form, including how to apply for university, and other suitable alternatives.

What is UCAS?

UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) is a key part of the application process for colleges and universities.

For parents and carers who are unfamiliar with supporting their child with their UCAS application process, we have embedded a UCAS 'widget' on this page (found below) to help to better understand the application process. UCAS does update the information regularly, so that the widget remains relevant.
