LEARNING MENTOR (Two-year contract initially)
Required for as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor who is able to support young people to achieve short and longer term goals that will enable them to be effective learners. We believe strongly in the powerful impact of positive relationships and this new role is part of our move to develop a strong relational culture that promote high standards of behaviour and learning.
The successful candidate will be an optimistic and dynamic professional who is highly motivated, with an innovative and supportive approach to teaching and learning.
This is a full time position (Two Year contract initially) working 37 hours week for 40 weeks per year (term time plus one holiday week); part-time hours can be considered. NJC Scale 5 points 12/17 £22,183 - £24,491. Pro rata to weeks and hours worked actual salary is £16,405-£18,112 per year. Salary point dependent on qualifications and experience.
