SEND Provision at Allestree Woodlands School
The Enhanced Learning Faculty supports all students who attend Allestree Woodlands School but it has a clear focus of those students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND).
The school is proudly an Enhanced Resource Facility for Deaf students and has specialist classes for Deaf students.
All teachers are teachers of SEND and the Enhanced Learning Faculty strive to support all stakeholders of SEND students to enable aspiration and achievement through delivery of a knowledge-rich curriculum, underpinned by the school’s CORE values; courage, optimism, regard and endeavour.
