At AWS, all Sixth form students must wear school dress code when attending school. This enables students to feel both comfortable and professional.

Details of the AWS Sixth Form Dress Code are as follows:

• Formal wear; this could include a blazer or jacket but this is not compulsory.

• Formal blouse/shirt. This should be opaque with an appropriate neckline (i.e. not low cut) and not cropped.

• Ties may be worn.

• Jumpers and cardigans can be worn.

• Tight fitting skirts (e.g. jersey or lycra) are not part of the dress code. Skirts should be appropriately formal for school wear. It is expected that skirts will be just above the knee or longer.

• Formal shoes.

• No student will be allowed to wear items of clothing with logos.

• Hoodies are not permitted.

• Earrings must be studs.

• Nose studs are permitted (not rings or bars). Nose studs should be easily removeable.

• It is compulsory that all piercings are taken out for P.E.
