We are a popular and successful 11-18 school, providing high quality education for 1370 students (200+ in the sixth form). The school is situated on the northern edge of the city of Derby in a very pleasant setting overlooking the Kedleston Hall National Trust estate. We work as a great team together and are committed to the continuing professional development of all colleagues.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the school’s pastoral team by providing assistance in the effective running of the school by focusing on supporting positive relationships, behaviour and attitudes.

We are looking for a motivated individual who will help our students to achieve the best learning outcomes and to make positive contributions to their emotional health and well-being. The successful candidate will be effective in dealing with staff, pupils, parents and outside agencies.

The position is for 37 hours per week for 41 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks during the school holidays).

NJC Scale 4 points 7/11 £22,369 - £24,054 per year.

(Pro rata to hours and weeks worked actual annual salary is £20,107- £21,621 pa)
