Careers Education

At Allestree Woodlands School, we are passionate about supporting students through the process of deciding upon their next steps, after they finish school.

We provide impartial guidance and advice on further education, training or employment across KS3 and KS4 and involve outside agencies such as employers and higher education providers.

Careers education takes place primarily through weekly PSE and Careers lessons. Alongside these, we run drop down days including Next Steps Day, CV Workshops, Mock Interviews, STEM events, Careers and Next Step Guidance.
