We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of English to start in September 2025 on a permanent basis. The role is suitable for an experienced or early career teacher.

Allestree Woodlands School is a popular and successful 11-18 school, providing high quality education for 1420 students (200+ in the sixth form). The school is situated on the northern edge of the city of Derby in a very pleasant setting overlooking the Kedleston Hall National Trust estate. We work as a great team together and are committed to the continuing professional development of all colleagues.

We are looking for a committed and highly effective teacher of English who is inspiring, innovative and able to consistently deliver high standards of teaching and learning.
