Geography

Back to Subjects

Geography instils in students a curiosity about the world and its people that will remain with them throughout their lives. We encourage students to learn about a variety of places, both physical and human, exploring the interactions between people and the environments that they live in and manage.

Geographers will develop their key skills in fieldwork and research, as well as being encouraged to develop their wider reading and participation in classroom discussion. In light of the pandemic, our curriculum has been re-sequenced, and key knowledge has been revisited and adapted to meet the needs of all learners.

Our geographers are set on a course to become globally informed and caring citizens, with transferable skills that are highly desired by employers in the 21st century.
